Hi. My name is Luciana.
I’m a creative with 23 years of experience in 4 different continents.
I started my career in my hometown São Paulo working for agencies such as Leo Burnett, Ogilvy and Grey Worldwide.
And I was very fortunate to win my very first Cannes Lion and One Show pencil in my first 5 years as an art director.
After ten years in Brazil, I moved to Portugal to join the Leo Burnett team in Lisbon. In the next nine years, I grew from senior art director to Executive Creative Director of the agency.
And as the creative leader, I had the opportunity to put into practice the kind of leadership I believe in: always collaborative, never hierarchical.
A collaboration with a group of talented people that led to several international and national awards.
With Leo Burnett always ranked as one of the top creative agencies in Portugal and me being awarded as “Best Creative Director” by the Creative Club of Portugal in three different occasions.
On the client side, while at Leo Burnett Lisbon, I was responsible for all the integrated communication of one the most respected financial institutions of Angola: The Atlantico Bank.
And in the years we worked together, I led a team that developed their new positioning and unveiled a complete new pipeline of financial products. But much more than a brand, working with an African client of this size and importance, helped to expand my global knowledge even further.
My next move took me across the ocean to the U.S. in 2016.
There I joined LAPIZ, a multicultural agency part of Leo Burnett in Chicago as their Senior Vice President and Executive Creative Director. The following year I was featured as one of the top 18 Executive Creative Directors in the U.S. by Adweek 100 Creative list, and we won our first Cannes Lion.
After South America, Europe and North America, in 2019, I moved to Asia.
And as the Executive Creative Director of Saatchi&Saatchi Tokyo in Japan, I currently lead multidisciplinary teams for global brands such as Expedia, Shu Uemura (L’Oreal) and Lexus.
