Hi. I’m a creative with 23 years of experience in 4 different continents.
I started my career in my hometown São Paulo working for agencies such as Leo Burnett, Ogilvy and Grey Worldwide. I won my first lion in Cannes and my first One Show pencil during my first 5 years as art director.
After working in Brazil for ten years, I accepted an offer to join the Leo Burnett team in Lisbon. During the following nine years I spent there, I grew from an art director senior to an executive creative director. I had the opportunity to put into practice the kind of leadership I believe in: collaborative and not hierarchical.
In Lisbon, my team won many international awards and we were at the top of the ranking of the best creative agencies in Portugal. I was also awarded “best creative director of the country” by the Creative Club of Portugal for three times.
While I was working for Leo Burnett in Lisbon, I had as a client one of the most respected financial institutions of Angola: Atlantico Bank. We helped them to create a new positioning and a pipeline of new financial products. It was my first experience with an African client and I learned a lot from this opportunity.
In 2016, I was invited to join LAPIZ, a multicultural agency located at the headquarters of Leo Burnett in Chicago as their Senior Vice President and Executive Creative Director. One year later, we won our first lion together, and I was featured among the top 18 Executive Creative Directors in the U.S. by Adweek 100 Creative list.
At the beginning of 2019, I moved to Japan to join Saatchi&Saatchi Tokyo as Executive Creative Director leading global brands like Expedia, Shu Uemura (L’Oreal) and Lexus.
